J.L.A.T.A at PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim
José Luis Arias traveled to Anaheim, California, to present Dominican Mingolo mangoes at PMA Fresh Summit, one of the most important fresh produce shows in the United States.

PMA Fresh Summit brings together growers, importers, distributors and supermarket chains from around the world every year. For J.L.A.T.A it was a chance to present what we grow in Paya, Baní, in person and to talk directly with the people who buy tropical fruit in the United States.
During the show, José Luis walked the halls, met with buyers and shared the Mingolo spec sheet. Many of those conversations continued after the event.
What we brought
Mingolo mangoes from our own farms: yellow skin and flesh, oval shape, 425 g average weight and 12.44 °Brix. Packed in JL boxes, ready for market.

What came next
In 2021 J.L.A.T.A began exporting directly to the United States. Today our boxes ship from the port of Río Haina to Brooklyn and arrive at the New York City Terminal Market in Hunts Point.
If you are an importer or distributor looking for Dominican mangoes straight from the grower, get in touch.
